Dear Parents and Guardians,
Let us pray:
A PRAYER FOR THE END OF TERM
Loving Father, as we come to the end of another term we turn to you in confidence and place any difficult relationships into the healing hands of Jesus, your Son.
Enable us to leave behind any pain of the past and any regrets or bitterness, entrusting the past to your mercy, the present to your love, and the future to your providence.
Help us appreciate more the need to keep a good balance in our lives.
May the holiday be for us a time of rest and recreation to help restore us and re-create us in your image and likeness, as we enjoy more of the love and presence of our families, on whom we ask your blessing.
Amen.

Thank you to Bishop Michael and Father Gerard for conducting the Mass and to our Year 6 teachers in preparing the students for their special evening. We will let families know when the photos will be available.

Wellbeing News
Some friendships bring out the best in us while, unfortunately, some bring out the worst. It’s so important to teach children that friendships are a choice and help them learn the difference between healthy & unhealthy friendships.
The Friend-o-meter was developed because research shows that kids do not always assess or evaluate their friendships – meaning, they accept both the good and bad into their world. We want kids thinking about whether or not friendships are healthy for them. This is critical for students to start doing this now, instead of when they’re 16 and in a romantic relationship. We want kids asking themselves now, “Is this relationship good for me? Does this person treat me with the respect I deserve?” so that this self-compassion will be an instinct when considering future relationships.
