Semester 2 Ministry Leaders
Congratulations to the following students who have been elected Semester 2 Ministry Leaders. We know you will do a great job:
Staffing
Last week we said goodbye to Mrs Cassie Johnson as she heads off on maternity leave. This week we farewell Mrs Steph Westlake as she too heads of on maternity leave. We wish both ladies safe deliveries and look forward to meeting the new members of their family.

First Communion
Congratulations to our Year 4 Communicants who made their First Holy Communion on Sunday June 16th. Thank you to our Year 4 teachers and Father Gerard in preparing them for their special day. Also a special thank you to those who turned up to help out in the choir. The St Lawrence's School Community congratulate you all.

Administration News
Andrew Chinn Incursion
Last week it was a pleasure to have Andrew Chinn visit our school. He held numerous workshops and then finished off the day with a whole school concert.
Geraldton STEM Showcase 2024
Congratulations to the 19 groups of Year 5-6 students who presented their STEM projects last Friday at the Nagle gym.
Special congratulations to the following 4 groups who won their section:

Week 1
We wave good bye to our Year 6s as they head to Perth for a week of fun, excitement, learning and a week-long sleepover with a lot of friends! We wish them all the best, safe travels and be kind to your teachers.
Cross Country
Week 3 is our Faction Cross Country Carnival on Friday 2nd of August between recess and lunch. It is a good time to start that fitness campaign with your children during the holidays that you always wanted to do. You will be amazed what a difference just 10 min running every day will make to your energy levels.
Religious Education Assessment
In Week 3 we have the Religious Education Assessment online for year 3 and 5. This will be completed in class. See the letter attached for further information.
