Dear Parents and Guardians,
Let us pray:
Bastille Day
A massive thank you to Madame Arangio for organising a fabulous Bastille Day. From the French Café to the wonderful Assembly Items, it was an incredible well thought out day. To all the students who participated - bravo. Thank you to the many staff members who also helped out making the day such a wonderful success.
Staffing
Congratulation to Miss Charlotte Drage who was the successful applicant for the Education Assistant job commencing next term when Mrs Cassie Johnson goes on parental leave. Charlotte is familiar with St Lawrence's and knows a few of our students from her work at Kids Hub. Welcome to St Lawrence's Charlotte.
In Semester 2 we will be commencing our fourth group of 3 year olds (Puggles) on a Friday in the Fitzgerald Hall. Mrs Amber Gratte will be the class teacher and Mrs Megan Desmond will be the education assistant.
Pupil Free Days
Don’t forget Friday 31 May and Monday 3 June are pupil free days. Have a great weekend and we will see you back at school on Tuesday June 4.

Prayer for First Eucharist
Lord Jesus,
Bless the children coming forward to receive Holy Communion for the first time.
May this day be an initial step into a life-long love of the Eucharist.
Give them a hunger for this sacred food so that they turn to You for comfort, guidance, and wisdom as they grow into full discipleship.

Administration News
The National Reconciliation Week theme for 2024, Now More Than Ever, is a reminder to all of us that no matter what, the fight for justice and the rights of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people will —and must —continue.
Prayer for Reconciliation
God of all creation, as we journey together in this Great Southern Land, we pray for healing, forgiveness and unity, creating a path of good will, with justice and compassion. Jesus, through the power of your love, you have given us the courage, wisdom and strength to share our gifts and talents in humility. In peace and understanding we reconcile with each other. Creator Spirit, we come together in prayer and thanksgiving for the many blessings we have received. Allow your Spirit to wash over us and give us strength to walk together as one.
Amen
