Principal's Page
Dear Parents and Guardians,
Let us pray:
Thank you
After 8 weeks and travelling through 11 countries, it is really nice to be back home in Geraldton again. Living out of a suitcase for all that time does get a bit too much. Presently I am working with Madame Arangio to help produce a bilingual book (English and French) about my adventures in France which she will use in all of her French classes in the coming weeks.
A huge shout out to Mrs Donna Kempton and Mr Damien O'Malley for stepping up as Acting Principal's over the past 2 months. Miss Emma Bowen has returned to her Year 1 class having been appointed as Acting Assistant Principal during my absence. Thank you Emma for all you have done.
Whilst I was visiting Vatican City, I purchased a special present for the school. You can see a set of blessed Rosary Beads in school colours displayed on the Holy Bible in the cabinet of the office foyer.
Communio Appeal - Step Up
Communio is the name given to Bishop Michael's Appeal to help the needy people in the Diocese of Geraldton. It is conducted annually throughout the Diocese in each school for one week, and is known simply as 'Communio Week in Schools'.
Yesterday we celebrated a whole school Mass with Father Gerard for Communio Week.
Throughout this week each year level have also been fundraising for the appeal.

Year Five Family Mass – Week 6, Sat May 25th, 6pm St Lawrence's Church
Please join our year five families for this weekend parish mass.
First Eucharist
Please pray for our First Eucharist Candidates as they prepare to receive this Sacrament.
Lord Jesus, we come to your sacred table to nourish ourselves,
not with bread but with Yourself, true Bread of eternal life.
Help us to recognise and celebrate your presence everyday in our lives. Walk with us on our journey of faith as you once did with the disciples on the road to Emmaus.
Amen

Celebrating Success'
Last weekend I had the pleasure of watching our Half Field (Year 1 & 2s) team on the grass. They are super cute and were playing so well considering their age and the weather was so warm.
Div 1 Results (Year 5 & 6)
27 April V Mt Tarcoola
5 nil win
Goal Scorers: Reece Partington 3, Harli Kingdon 1, Gabriel Sellei 1.
Good start to the season and opportunity to remember our hockey skills.
4 May V SFX/GPS
2 -1 loss
Goal Scorer: Lucy Hainan (a brilliant goal it was)
Very hot and hard game. Everyone played so well with SFX/GPS getting their winning goal late in the game.
11 May Vs Wandina
2 all draw.
Goal Scorers: Reece Partington & Harrison Basell
Some great team work and ball movement across the field. Disappointing to have a draw after being up 2 nil early in the game. Wandina scored their 2nd goal with 2 minutes to go then Reece missed a easy open goal with 1 minute to go. Everyone was well and truly exhausted by this stage, so hot with a 11am game.
