Loving God,
As we begin Semester 2 at St Lawrence’s by the Sea, we thank You for the gift of our school community. Bless our students, teachers, staff, and families with Your guidance and protection.
May our classrooms be places of kindness, curiosity, and respect. Help us to grow in wisdom, compassion, and courage as we learn together. Let our hearts be open to new friendships, and our hands ready to help those in need.
We pray for safety in all we do—at school, at home, and in our travels. Watch over us with Your loving care and keep us strong in body, mind, and spirit.
May our school be a beacon of hope and joy by the sea, where every child feels valued, every voice is heard, and every day is filled with purpose.
Guide our leaders with wisdom, our teachers with patience, and our students with enthusiasm. Let peace and understanding flow through our halls, and may Your light shine in all we do.
We place this new semester in Your hands, trusting in Your love and grace.
Amen.

Cluedunnit Kids provides a fun, unique and creative learning opportunity for Year 6 student teams to investigate a fictional criminal offence with the goal of identifying the prime suspect and eliminating the other suspects.
A brief of evidence provides clues and students can then ask up to six questions to get further evidence to help them identify the prime suspect and eliminate the others.
Each team then creates and submits their findings in a creative way of their choosing. Creative submission types range from electronic/digital formats (video interviews, video songs, video song with a choreographed dance, animations, PowerPoint presentations and video re-enactment) or a written format (pop-up book, board game, booklet, comic, poster).
Cluedunnit Kids provides a unique learning opportunity for students to apply the core Humanities and Social Sciences skills and addresses WA Curriculum General Capabilities.
