Parent/Teacher/Student Meetings
On Friday 4 July we will be conducting our Semester 1 Parent/Teacher/Student/Interviews. In order for our teachers to meet each family, we encourage you to keep your child/ren at home and bring them into school for the interview at the allocated time. Next week you will receive more information including a link to make the appropriate bookings.
In preparation for the day, if you know your child will not be at school that day, can you please follow the link to the absentee form and mark your child absent for Friday 4 July. https://www.stlps.wa.edu.au/forms/?formId=6
Maternity Leave
Last Friday we said goodbye to Miss Georgia Stribley who has now gone on maternity leave. Mrs Chantelle Tarr will replace Georgia for the remainder of the term. Next week we say goodbye to Miss Steff Hall who also goes on maternity leave. Mrs Maddy Dent will be replacing her for the remainder of the term.
We wish both ladies all the best for the remaining weeks until their new born babies arrive.
Ride to School
Last Thursday we had over 150 students and extra parents and teachers dodge the rain and ride to school in two main groups from the north and south of Geraldton. Thank you to Marissa Drummond and team for putting together this incredible community event and then providing breakfast for all those involved.

Communio 2025
Thank you for all your amazing Communio Efforts- our school funds total as of today was $1670.1.
These funds go to Bishop Michael's Communio Appeal to support the costs of running Catholic Aid agencies in the Geraldton Diocese: Centacare, St Vincent de Paul, Nazareth House as well as projects run to support people in the community by these organsitaions.
Congratulations to Luana in coming third in this year's Communio Sticker Competition. Luana received a canteen voucher for her efforts.

Prayer for First Eucharist:
Lord Jesus,
Bless the children coming forward to receive Holy Communion for the first time.
May this day be an initial step into a life-long love of the Eucharist.
Give them a hunger for this sacred food so that they turn to You for comfort, guidance, and
wisdom as they grow into full discipleship.
Amen

West Coast Eagles Visit
Yesterday St Lawrence’s played host to a ‘virtual’ visit by some West Coast Eagles players. Students from each class had the opportunity to ask their favourite players Liam Ryan, Jake Waterman, Noah Long, Jamie Cripps and Harvey Johnson all about life as a footballer. It was great to have 2 players represented from the Midwest.
